Very good point!! Beautiful shot, Mia!
Here our precious moment– a great grandmother lovin’ on her GreatGrandBabyGirls (whom we call the “twin cousins” born 7 weeks apart, 2 years ago)– http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2012/04/this-moment_20.html
Beautiful! http://deliasknittedthings.blogspot.com/2012/04/this-moment.html
Wow! What I wouldn’t give for a view like that! The only “mountains” we have here in South Florida are the mountains of trash at the garbage dumps. LOL! Don’t get me wrong, I love the village we live in, and the beaches, of course. But the flatness of the land has always been a sore spot. My dream home? I can see the beach AND the mountains right from my window… *sigh*
Yes, I remember being SO tired of the flatness of Kansas City. Sometimes you just crave beauty and variety, I think. When I was in South Africa, I loved it, because the mountains came right down to the sea…it really is a perfect combination!
Great quote. True, so sad, but still great.
