stitched with love
Slowly, I can feel my crafty loose ends tying up, and the projects that just wouldn’t come together are coming together–finally!
Here’s another potholder/oven mitt set I made, this one for Cindy, my good friend in Kansas City. I came up with my own embroidery design this time, rather than using a pattern. I penciled in the lettering and design and embroidered over it, then sewed all the pieces together. Both potholders are the same, red on one side, patterned on the other.
The problem with finishing up all my projects is that I simply can’t help myself–I start new ones. Such is the misery of the creative soul.
But then, who do I think I’m kidding? I love making things!
