pointillism skirt
To celebrate all the rain we’ve had this July, I made a new skirt for Zia.
I loved this fabric the moment I saw it. It’s a spin off Georges Seurat’s famous pointillist painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.
I’m not sure just how dry these umbrellas will actually keep my rain dancer, but they will surely keep her spinning in the rain.
Sneak peek: I also got a yard of another fabric that is super sweet and somewhat matching to this. I plan to sew that one into something for me. (Big smiles.)
We’re off to take Caleb home this weekend. And for those of you who don’t know, we have some awesome news about Caleb…more on that in the next couple of days!
