Linking up with SouleMama…a moment from our week.
The wooden bear and baby spoon are now in my shop! Both are hand carved from solid basswood, hand sanded, and finished with natural, non-toxic oil.
You can find them in my shop at Poco Leon Studio.
Five years ago, we had just one spunky two year old girl with us in our little white house in the suburbs of Kansas City. We had just put all new windows in our house, a fence around the backyard, pruned our gigantic trees (so they didn’t crush the house in those wild storms) and we were filling the entire yard, wall to wall, with a garden. We planted every kind of vegetable we could think of, made raised strawberry beds, brick walkways, brick-bordered herb beds, and planted a berry patch with three kinds of berries.
Little did we know we were about to sell everything and move to Colorado–in six months! Such fun and crazy times. But life hasn’t gotten any more predictable since then…and that’s a good thing. 🙂
There were mor trees.
Mor froot and vejtbol.
Mor protean.
Mor wiyold life.
Mor animols.
Mor housis.
Mor ise crem.
Mor peas.
(More peas surprised me. When I asked her about it, she explained it’s actually More peace.)
And in the image area:
More trees
No mor Smokeinge (arrow pointing to a No Smoking sign)
No Big Ikspensuve housis.
(You wouldn’t know from all the wishes for more trees that we live in the middle of thousands of acres of National Forest.)
She’s gonna Reforme the worlde, that wun.
