bobcat in the snow

David spotted this guy out the window the other day and snapped some pictures.

We prefer his kind to the other local feline variety–mountain lion!

Love this wild place where we live.

    Beautiful photos! I was saw a bobcat up at Walker Ranch. It was one of those warm spring March days – like today – and I was hiking the loop by myself. I kept getting cat energy if that makes sense and I was a little edgy being up there alone. Right when I got to the parking lot I saw him. So beautiful!

    Great shots, the lighting just couldn’t be more perfect.

    I would be a little freaked out if I were getting “cat energy” out by myself…glad it was just a bobcat!

    Ha! It was a little freaky! I kept jingling my car keys as I walked. But you know, that loop is what, 8 miles so I was a long way from the car. But it was such a cool affirmation of intuition. Always listen to it!
