What could better than to get your own set of wings upon entering Earth?

The “wings” are a little bolero sweater. The pattern is from One Skein, a knitting book full of simple projects using only one skein of yarn. I especially like the little design detail on the back.

The book’s sequel, One More Skein, is where I found the hat pattern. It reminds me of a tiny pilot’s cap.

I worked these in Nature’s Choice Organic Cotton, which is oh, so soft.

Fly, baby, fly.
