a wee blanket set
Just thought I’d finally post pics of that little blanket I finished way back in May. I finally kissed it goodbye this morning and shipped it out across the country. As much as I love it, I’m a just a little too big for it, so I sent it to someone a wee bit smaller. 🙂 Come to think of it, the blanket really was made for her to begin with – I just needed a little time to admire it.
Along with the blanket also went this little hat and sweater, which of course are much too warm (and big) for my tiny niece right now, but should fit nicely come those cold New York winters. They whipped up in no time flat compared to the blanket, and I must say, all three pieces were lots of fun to make. They were all adapted (with just a few changes) from Itty Bitty Nursery.
By the way, there’s a birthday project galloping off the needles soon…
