summer days

It seems that now Caleb is home, our summer has finally really begun.  We’re playing at the reservoir, strolling around town, checking out the local First Fridays art show, snagging free ice cream, riding the carousel, catching a movie at the theater.  And spending lots of lovely, idle hours outside, lolling in the tree house, lying in the grass, swinging under the tree.

And of course, now summer is almost over.  School starts for Caleb in 10 days, and Zia will start first grade at home the same time.  We’re looking forward to a change of pace and a bit more structure to our days, but still soaking up every minute of this sweet, slow, summertime.

    Looks like you are having a blast! Summer is so fun, isn’t it? I have a feeling ours won’t be for much longer, but then there are all things fall to look foward too! 🙂
