on top of the mountain
So maybe, just maybe, I’m dragging out these photos of Caleb’s visit a little. But a good thing is a good thing, and to the little girl above, having a brother is a really good thing.
Here we are, almost to the top of Dinosaur Ridge, stopping for a breather…and a breathtaking view.
Me and my very best friend. Otherwise known (to Zia) as Mamma and Dadda Polar Bear.
We make good polar bears, don’t you think?
And when the bears got over the mountain, what do you think they saw?
Another mountain…
with nestled farms
and houses
and red rocks
and more mountains.
Goodbye from the mountains, Caleb. Maybe we’ll see you in the summer!
SEEING ZIA WITH CALEB MAKES ME THINK OF NOAH WITH HARRISON IT IS SO AMAZING HOW THE AGE DIFFERENE REALLY DOESN’T MATTER SOMETIMES. I LOVE THE PICTURE IN YOUR LAST POST OF ZIA HUGGING HIM.
I suppose some things can be dragged out, but not something like this. Not when it is this special and memorable. (don’t’ forget fun) How long was he with you guys? You might have said before, but I don’t remember.
Allison, Caleb was here for a week…just long enough for us to really miss him when he left! And you’re right about it being special, memorable, and fun!
You two make great polar bears, yes, I would agree with Zia.HAHA! Too cute!
I LOVE the pictures you post. It always seems like I am looking at a travel magazine when I look at your blog. So beautiful and interesting! š
