As seems to be the case around here lately, this post comes to you fashionably late. Rewinding slightly, when we were in St. Louis, we were at a Whole Foods Market and I happened on a free drawing for a Mother’s Day Gift Basket. Well, I won.

Since we were already back in KC when I heard the news, they agreed to ship it out to me. A couple of days after Mother’s Day, the box arrived at our doorstep!

I was so thrilled that I ran out and practically kissed the FedEx guy! (No, not really.) But for sure, Zia and I were both doing the dance of joy!

She always opens the packages around here.

But she doesn’t always pose with the contents. Only when they’re really pretty!

Which these were. As you can see, there were lots of yummy things to taste, or sniff, or try on the lips. Which we quickly did. But her very favorite things were the crinkly pink paper strips.
