David was gone most of the day yesterday, fixing the brakes on the 4Runner.   He came home with food from Chipotle and surprised me with these sweet flowers.

I found these earrings nestled in the leaves of our jade tree on Christmas morning.

We always talk about how much we like just being together on Christmas, and not buying stuff for each other…

and then he went and got me something anyway.  Sigh.  I have a feeling he snagged the earrings in Winter Park while I wasn’t looking, the tricky scoundrel.

The snowflakes are wooden die-cuts with mirror inlays, and the columbines are thin layers of colored metal.  They are both super sweet.  I guess I should really start thinking about giving him presents, huh?
