views of (and around) our house
Our sweet kitchen has lots of shelves.
Mud Lake.
Can you see Grandma Cindy peacefully napping?
Have I mentioned how much we love our new home? Perhaps you can tell by the smiles. š
We went over to Mud Lake the other day, just a couple of miles from our house. It’s incredibly beautiful, and we could hardly believe that it was a sort of trash heap until some volunteers recently cleaned it up. Needless to say, they did a great job, and now we get to reap the fruit of their labor!
As for the house, it seems to get better each day. We are settling in and it is fast becoming our home sweet home. Taking a walk on our road is amazing. The incline and altitude (8300 ft) makes it like taking a hike in the mountains!
Grandma Cindy and Will headed back to KC yesterday. It was so good to have them, and we miss them already.
And now…another beautiful day has dawned in the mountains. Hope yours is lovely too, wherever you find yourself!

Wow, I have to say your kitchen makes me long for a day I can have something so beautiful. I can only dream of all the lovely things you will make there, and will all the veggies you grow from your garden…amazing. I love your home, I’m glad you do too, what a great feeling!
Just a beauty of a home, doll! Today I brushed off a spirally, fire red hair from a blanket and in an instant I was down on the floor frantically looking for it. I miss you!
So glad Cindy and Will were there to visit and so good of them to be such a great support! Mimi
Well, Mimi, I could always send you a few red hairs…it’s not hard to find them in our house! (It’s the blondies that we have to search for…)
Great place! Great family! AND Those visitors looked AMAZING!!!!!! š
