This week, we…

cut our first Christmas tree from these Black Hawk woods

(and then pretended it was big enough to drag).

Helped give gifts to people in the projects of Denver.  Seeing the look on their faces was something we won’t soon forget!

Baked gingerbread cookies, and hung them up

Watched a full moon rise over the mountains

and watched our kids grow another week older.

Finished up the last week of school before break, watched Zia sing Frosty the Snowman in her first concert at school, got over a stomach bug, and began to finally thaw out in these 30-45 degree days.
