inside
Brrr. We’ve been having some rawther chilly weather here–just like most of the country, thanks to that lovely Polar Vortex. Somehow I don’t remember such freezing days last winter, even in the coldest months (10 degrees below zero?) and definitely not in November.
Cash is itching to go outside–me too!–but by the time I get him bundled up, he’s lost interest. Which makes me kind of glad, because it’s just too cold for those baby cheeks out there.
So he puts on his ‘no boots and “deen doves” and climbs up to wash the dishes. We go through about 5 shirts a day and who knows how many gallons of water, but it’s worth it.
The gloves are kind of hilarious because they remind me of my grandma washing dishes in her green rubber gloves. Nobody in our house washes dishes with gloves–nobody except Cash with his deen winter doves, that is.
Shirt #1 down.
Dishwater is good to drink, too…mm-hmm. Gotta have fun somehow when you’re trapped inside on a cold day. 😉
Papa and I think that is so cute of Cash…..and Papa readily volunteered Mame as the grandmother who wore the green gloves bc, as he says, “It couldn’t have been my mother.” Funny guy.
Yep…the truth is hard to swallow sometimes. 😉
Hi honeeeee….what a beautiful view of your kitchen and what a cutey pie, lil Cashey, the columbine jewelry are really gorgeous / stay warm / luv u / mom
Oh my gosh, Harmony does the same thing with our kitchen sink! At first I was all, “noooo, you’re wasting water” and now I’m like, “hooray, you’re occupied and happy”! The temperatures are getting chilly over here too.
Finally figured out how to change my blog address here ; ) Took me long enough!
These are all great shots. Cash washing up made me chuckle, and your view. Does Cash have a sensory table? ohhhh That glorious view! It seems like something he would like. We picked one up this past spring similar to this one

It lived outside this summer with sand or dirt, and has also been filled with practice golf balls, snow, rice, beans, pop poms, fabric scraps, jello, and I forget what else. Just a thought.
That looks so perfect for Cash…I might have to get one. Jello? Haha
YOU HAVE A LONG COLD WINTER AHEAD OF YOU SO ANYTHING THATS FUN INDOORS IS GOOD. CASH LOOKS LIKE HE IS HAVING A BLAST, HES A REAL CUTUE.
