colors of our table
I know I’ve already talked enough about our new table, but I had to show off these hot-off-the sewing machine placemats and napkins.
The placemats are a little wavy, but, hey, they’re homemade–and what’s the fun in looking store-bought? I just haven’t quite mastered fusible interfacing yet, that’s all.
The colored linen fabric is from Jo-Ann’s, and oh, how I love it. I backed the placemats with black linen so they are reversible, and I also made a set of black linen napkins. I may get a couple more colors of linen to complete a set of 6, but otherwise, I think our table is just perfect now.
P.S. The olive wood salt and pepper shakers came in the mail, a gift from a mysterious admirer. (He may or may not wear a black mask and ride a motorbike.)
Your dishes definitely say CO-MTN living. Love it.
Haha! Thanks!
