I found this old photo of me in my cowgirl days, haha. I was six, and this is our Shetland pony, Morning Star. I would hop on her back while she was picketed in the yard, grazing. She was so nice–she just stood patiently while I scrambled onto her back, kicking and flailing.

And here I am at seven, with the little Saanen goat I got for my birthday. Both pics were taken at our home in Fuquay-Varina, NC.  Such a good life. 🙂
