new camera
We went to Lakewood to renew our driver’s licenses this morning, and stopped to pick up my new camera on the way home. I haven’t had much time to play around with it, but the battery is charged and I took these pics around 4:10 pm.
The top photo was taken with the flash, which of course washed out the detail a little. The rest are natural light (except for the Christmas lights, which lent barely any light at all). They are all digitally untouched.
The natural light here has much more softness and detail in the shadows, and the quality seems good for dim lighting. I also like how I was able to take these pictures of Cash and myself without them being extreme close-ups.
Compare them to this, which I took at the same time, in the same light, with my old camera. It is more blurry with less detail, and far more cropped and up close. It also seems very one-dimensional and flat because of the low lighting.
So far, I think my new camera rocks. Tomorrow I’ll try it outdoors in the sunlight.
OKTHAT LOOKS LIKE A BIG BOY.WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BABY CASH???LOL
BY THE WAY YOU LOOK LOVELY. GLAD TO FINALLY SEE PICS OF YOU MIA.
Thanks, Granny. Yes, our baby boy is growing up. He isn’t in any hurry to walk, but he definitely can when he wants to. Every time he stands up alone or takes a few steps, he stops and calls out, “buh!” which means “big boy!” He keeps us laughing.
