We awoke to snow, and winter seems suddenly here.  The kids bundled up and set off in the tingly, zero-degree air for the bus.  Zia in sneakers, of course, since she habitually leaves both pairs of her boots at school.

We homebodies went out too, and Cash got his fill of fresh cold air

then came in to warm up.  Popcorn, mmm-hmm.  Winter’s here, and (so far) we’re loving it. 😉

    ah yes. We are also getting our first “real” snow fall. It started yesterday around 3am and is still going strong. I do so love the snow. Panda is napping and I am cozied up in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot tea, mmmmmm.. Be well, stay warm.

    more of a tea drinker. Popcorn hulls get stuck in my teeth… I did make a cookie in a bowl. Simple, quick, sweet treat, would you like the recipe?

    Yes! I would. Send it on over! Popcorn just makes me feel yucky (most corn does) so I don’t eat it either. Boy loves it, though. It ends up all over the floor.

    Beautiful! Your photos are always so nice. We had our first storm on November 2. The snow is almost gone but now we have the Polar Vortex coming in this weekend. So early! Stay warm and enjoy.
