surprise!

Yes, that’s me with that cute round belly. The secret just can’t be kept any longer…we’re having a baby!

I know that’s quite an appendage I’m sporting, but I’m barely 3 1/2 months. We are super excited. Our little babe is already being surrounded by love and kisses and big sibling plans.

Our due date is August 1st. Zia will be 5, and her mothering plans are already in place…lots of baths and lollipops and bottles of “cow milk” (a big treat around here). We may postpone those lollipops and milk bottles in favor of Mamma’s milk for just a few years.

And just now, we’re putting all our love and care into growing a strong and sturdy little mountain baby!
