birthday boy

I can hardly believe that today this tiny boy became a sturdy, strapping one year old!

He was so new on that thirtieth of July

and we all couldn’t keep our eyes off him

wondering who he was and who he would grow to be.

And now that we know him

we love him even more

and can hardly imagine

life before

Cash Laredo Lucero.


Happy birthday, Boy!

(We all agreed the shortcake was exceptional–right down to the finger painting on the plates.)
