rudolph and snowy house ornament
Here’s an aspen wood ornament I made for my very sweet in-laws.Ā It features Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on one side and a snowy house on the other.
I worked it in colored and metallic inks.Ā The wood has a natural crack in it and I let the wood background show through on the snowy house side.
I fashioned a simple wire for it…
and it now hangs on David’s parents’ tree in Santa Fe, NM, surrounded by farolitos. š
Can you find it?
farolitos != luminarias just saying /:O)
very good babe babe! I see your edit, soon you can call yourself a native Santa Fean, lol
Very sweet ornaments! š
hi honeeee… Thank you for the beautiful ornament! Your artwork is so wonderful! Dad and Kayla will be putting out our farolitos tonight – the pix of Canyon Road are awesome (and I(didn’t have to freeze to enjoy them š š š ) We love you and have a wonderful day! mom & dad
Pretty ornaments and if Papa hadn’t scrolled down I would have missed Lisa and Larry’s Christmas tree…..I think the little snow house ornament is halfway up on the right???? How pretty she’s made everything! The farolitos will be lit up outside, right? Pretty artwork,Mia.
Mom, glad you liked it! Your Christmas tree is a tiny bit bigger and more decorated than ours…;)
Mimi, noooooo…keep looking. š Hint: it’s the Rudolph side.
And I’m such a nor’easter, I’m not sure if theirs will go outside. But I’m sure David will let you know. Mr. Farolito Expert, he is. š
Unless you want your house to go up in flames, then yes, farolitos go outside /:0)
Hi everyone…..Mimi DL Mia …..thanks for sharing – you made our hearts happy š
Happy New Year ! Love, Lisa & Larry
