rudolph and snowy house ornament

Here’s an aspen wood ornament I made for my very sweet in-laws.Ā  It features Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on one side and a snowy house on the other.

I worked it in colored and metallic inks.Ā  The wood has a natural crack in it and I let the wood background show through on the snowy house side.

I fashioned a simple wire for it…

and it now hangs on David’s parents’ tree in Santa Fe, NM, surrounded by farolitos. šŸ™‚

    Pretty ornaments and if Papa hadn’t scrolled down I would have missed Lisa and Larry’s Christmas tree…..I think the little snow house ornament is halfway up on the right???? How pretty she’s made everything! The farolitos will be lit up outside, right? Pretty artwork,Mia.
