made by caleb
Just thought I’d show you this pretty bracelet Caleb made for his friend’s 15th birthday.
I taught him how to make a branch link design with beads, and he did this by himself in an evening. He worked with three types of pliers, brass wire, and freshwater pearls. He also made the hammered swirl clasp.
And Mimi, in case you’re wondering–those pearls are from that string you gave Zia. It was snapped in two (most likely by a certain pair of little hands) and we are in the process of recycling it into some cool things. Hope you don’t mind. 🙂
Caleb’s friend Lauryn loved the bracelet. Wouldn’t you, if a cool guy made it for you? It was one link too big, but he solved that by resizing it on the spot, no tools required. Which of course made him even more cool.
Wow. I’m impressed. It’s gorgeous!
Yes, it’s very cool! And I’m so glad Caleb was able to use all those loose pearls….hahaha, I can just see you running after each one when they scattered! Oh,Cashey Boy.
