friends with kids

We have company this week. Our good friends Darci and Chase drove out to Colorado to visit us with their 3 kids, and we have been having a blast. From wading in mountain creeks to wandering the local museums, to driving across the top peaks of the Rockies, our days have been packed full.

The kids are having so much fun together. It’s kind of sad when your best friends live hundreds of miles away, but you definitely enjoy them when you do get to see them.

Chase is a mountain man at heart. We keep telling him he needs to move here (with his family, of course) and live out his true calling. šŸ™‚ He and David are cut from the same cloth…burlap, I think. Probably an old coffee sack.

Darci is my great and irreplaceable friend. We see eye to eye on so many things. She is one of a kind, and I love having her here.

    It went great, Hannah–thanks for asking. The heartbeat is at 130/bpm now, and the baby is finally head down!

    Yeah for head down! Baby is NOT posterior for me… which is a big deal for me lol hopfully means an easier labor and birth!
