farmstead day
Today was a long-awaited day in our neck of the woods: the annual spring opening of Deanna Rose Farmstead. It was also warm, sunny, and completely beautiful! Zia and I went to the farmstead bright and early with our friends Darci and Jez.
I’d write more about the farmstead and all the things we love about it, and the 2 hours we spent there today, but I’m so tired I can’t keep my eyes open. Not from the farm visit, but from shoveling dirt in the garden for the rest of the day…more about that later!
I asked Zia what her favorite part of our morning at the farmstead was, and she said “feeding milk bottles to the baby goats”. So I’ve included just a few shots of that, and I’ll tell you more about the farmstead some other time, since we’ll have plenty more visits to come.
For now, nighty-night.
Oh! I love it :o) What a fun experience for the kids. (both) LOL
Yes…I had as much fun as she did! Haha!

Oh, so glad you got on at last! I was missing your comments! Glad you liked your “paper presents” and Happy Birthday again!
I hadn’t seen the latest (nicely landscaped front yard and Zia with the goats) til now – Kirke happened to be viewing.
I love the brickwork and pavers and plants you’ve put in and the house looks WONDERFUL – really spruced up! I used to have a little gypsy girl, too! Mama
