waiting for dadda
We’ve been waiting–and keeping busy these last days before he finally comes home.
Zia wanted so much to plant a garden, but after last year’s short growing season and failed plants, I wasn’t so sure.
We’ll start a tiny garden, at least.
This boy has grown more hair, learned to eat more foods (turkey and salmon!) and is just about ready to crawl.
I am now The Woodsmoke-Scented Woman. Somehow, it’s just not the same as smelling it on him. 🙂
Our doughnut boy made some chocolate doughnuts
and the resident artist has gone prehistoric-cave style.
Every whiff of spring brings joy
and mud.
We thought spring was here, and then came this. We now live in an enchanted forest.
And right now, more snow. Hopefully the man will make it home with no delays–we’re oh so ready for him.
We’ll be here waiting. Whenever you get here–welcome home, happy (late) birthday, and lots of kisses from us all!
great pictures! hope he gets home very soon!
Wow! Snow?!?! Alrighty then. Hope Dadda is home safe and sound.
Well, not yet. We had so much snow the buses (and plows!) up here stopped running for a while, so he’s trying to get to a hotel. Good old April snowstorms in the mountains!
I will be home today; if I have to hike the canyon, I will be there! Schmoochies huge, /:0)
