Poco Mountain Girl

My mama made this baby blanket for Cash. It’s soft and cozy and extra big to wrap him up snugly. In classic Mimi-ishness, she sewed his name in calligraphic lettering using a wide navy ribbon.

It has a sweet Scottish flair, which is definitely fitting–since not only is he Spanish, Italian, French, Irish, Welsh, Czechoslovakian, Polish, German, Jewish, English, Navajo, Iroquois–and probably a few others as well–he is also Scotch.

My little Scotsman needed a tartan blankie. All those other nationalities…well, they will just have to wait their turn.
