That’s quite a shot, Mia, but please tell me you still don’t have all that snow!
It actually snowed a bit here in NY yesterday, but there was no accumulation, thank heavens.

She looks really good, like she’ll have a calf or two soon. We had a little snow this morning but it’s melted and changed to rain.

    I have a visitor this morning. http://robinfollette.com/coopers-hawk

    Susan,
Yes…we do still have snow. It’s been snowing off and on all week. Hopefully we’ll have some warmth before our final storms, which usually come in May!

This picture looks so surreal! I hope the snow is passing and you are staying warm. Love the photo.

Oh WOW what an amazing moment – although I am rather distracted by the fact that you still have snow!! Hopefully it will melt soon and long may you enjoy visits like this!

Oh my goodness!!! What an amazing moment!!! I’ve never seen a moose in the wild. I actually don’t think I’ve ever seen one in person at all. You don’t usually see them in zoos, do you?? LOL!! Have a beautiful weekend!! : )

    Wendy,
Glad you liked the moose! We see them frequently in our yard, and because of their hulking form they can be a little startling (David yelled there was a bear when he saw this one). And we actually do have a zoo in Colorado that has moose, LOL!

Seriously? I never get to see a moose in the wild when I have my camera. My dad sees them all the time at the house up there, but I’ve never seen one! I saw one up at Heart Lake (outside of Rollinsville) and where was my camera? At home on the kitchen counter!

Haha…that sounds like me! I nearly ran into a bear once (carrying Cash), and of course didn’t have my camera on me. Luckily it happened right in our front yard, though, so I got some decent pictures after I ran back into the house, heart in my throat. I had to be content without photos of the whites of his eyes and the hairs in his ears. šŸ™‚
